CNC machining refers to the machining process proceed by Computerized Numberical Control (CNC for short). It is aided by the CNC to reach a high and steady accuracy with less labor cost. Machining is any of various processes in which a piece of raw material is cut into a desired final shape and size by a controlled material-removal process.
The processes that have this common theme, controlled material removal, are today collectively known as subtractive manufacturing, in distinction from processes of controlled material addition, which are known as additive manufacturing. For some of the applications, just castings or forgings without machining could reach the desired tolerances and surface requirements. However, for most situation, the CNC machining are needed to match the customer's unique specifications and to make sure that the finished metal parts could work properly with other parts. Even for the investment casting parts, which have much better surface and tolerance grade than other metal forming process, still need additional processing.
To ensure the high quality and precision of the finished machining parts, the computer programs is critical. The Computer Aided Design, which is called CAD for short, and Computer Aided Manufacturing, called CAM, are both used as programs to provide detailed instructions about each step of the precision machining process. Programs like SolidWorks, ProE and UG create extremely detailed 3D models.
At RMC, we offer machining, grinding, turning, drilling, threading and other secondary processing services utilizing CNC equipment and machining center to ensure that our precision machined castings match the tight tolerances.
Our Fully equipped machine workshops are organized to develop parts of exceptional dimensional accuracy. Our precision machining workshop are equipped with Machining Centers, CNC Machines, and Special Machined for some appointed process. Our dedication to the precision machining process is extensive. We pride ourselves on our products and services, reasonable costs, and timely delivery. The quality certifications are implementing strictly according to ISO 9001.
Precision machining can be used on many materials including gray iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, steel alloys, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, bronze, and some special alloys.
As a one stop solution provider and complete supplier for castings, forgings and machining, we also offer services of heat treatment, surface treatment with reliability and flexibility. Our engineers keep their eyes on the production process from pattern design to the finished products, as well as the feedback from the customers. The customers rely on us for concurrent design and engineering support, materials and manufacturing support concerning properties and specifications. We have in-house rapid prototyping capabilities and in-house material testing, NDT, welding, and heat treatment.
Therefore, the things we can do are comprehensive and one stop:
